WWE News: The Raw Women’s Division to be Reconstructed in Future 1

The complaint that the Raw Women’s division has not been used to their full potential was there for quite a long time. It was visible that the Smackdown creative used their members far better than the flagship brand.

Whereas the blue brand had successfully used all the available members in a capacity, the Raw Women’s division revolved around Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks after Bayley got injured.

So, this is evidence that the officials should try to revamp the division to give a fresh air in this particular division shortly. Apparently, the preparations for the same has been started from now onwards. The change is coming, and the initial process got noticed in recent bookings for the women available on Raw.

As of now, the champion, Alexa Bliss will defend his title at the No Mercy PPV against the three challengers, Sasha Banks, Emma and Nia Jax. Initially, we were supposed to get a singles match between Sasha and Alexa. But, later the creative came up with these multi-woman match which is an innovative idea.

Going forward, we can certainly expect something unexpected like this. As reported by dirtysheets.net, Asuka is set to debut on the main roster in October. From that point onwards, the division will revolve around the most dominant champion in the history of NXT. The officials are looking to arrange more competition for the Empress of Tomorrow, from now onwards.

Dave Meltzer earlier reported that Emma got added to the Women’s Championship match to digest the pinfall. It would certainly make the other three look stronger and keep their status intact. However, as per the source that is not the case.

The officials intend the Raw Women’s division to be broad enough by making each of the members credible enough so that when Asuka debuts, she can receive viable opponents. Sasha & Alexa were the only two emphasised superstars, till date. Nia and Emma are also supposed to join the league, as well. It will make the buildup for the much-anticipated debut of Asuka on Raw that might happen at the TLC PPV.
