The Rock is considered to be one of the biggest sportspersons in the world.
Last year, he has been given the title of the highest-paid celebrity in Hollywood. This is a tremendous accolade making him the biggest star of the world who made the way for his fellow WWE superstars like John Cena.
The Rock had two releases this year, so far. The first one was the eight franchise of First & Furious named the “Fate of the Furious” with Vin Diesel which turned out to be a mega hit. The latest one is the Baywatch movie alongside Zac Effron and our very own Bollywood Diva, Priyanka Chopra.
The movie has just released in our country but it has hit the theatres in the USA over the last weekend. Ever since it’s release, it has received some mixed reactions. While the audience has loved the movie, the critics have not given positive feedback to it. It is kind of expected considering the film’s nature of being an adult comedy.

A popular website on American region, Rotten Tomatoes have given the movie only 20 percent of ratings. It certainly is a below par score than expected. The review was summed up with the following line from the critique:
“Baywatch takes its source material’s jiggle factor to R-rated levels, but lacks the original’s campy charm — and leaves its charming stars flailing in the shallows.”

The former WWE champion did not back down to these negative feedback and responded on his Twitter account with a positive attitude that makes him the most electrifying man in the sports entertainment, today.
Besides coming with the above comment, The Rock has also pointed out the media houses which gave a ‘thumbs up’ to the summer entertainer. In India, the film is getting same mixed reactions, as well.
The Rock is set with his next production house venture which is based on WWE superstar, Paige’s life. The movie is expected to release in this year’s fall. In addition, he will also be seen in the big flick, Jumanji, as well. The hectic movie schedule did not allow him to appear in this year’s Wrestlemania too.
