WWE News: The Undertaker To Be Brought Back In Non-Wrestling Capacity

When it comes to The Undertaker, there’s no stopping of the rumours. He is that one rare character in the pro-wrestling history who cares for his in-ring character so much. This is the reason he always keeps his whereabouts secret matching to his mythical persona. Every year, the Wrestlemania season goes by and we keep wondering on about his future.

This year, the speculations are much bigger following his second loss at the grandest stage of them all. He was defeated by Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33 leading to the potential end of his career. Following the match, he left off his in-ring gears inside the ring indicating that he will never step into the squared circle, ever again.

WWE has never accepted the fact on live television in order to make the hopes alive for his return, one day. In all of their posts related to the Phenome, they promoted the appearance as the ‘perhaps’ last appearance rather than solidifying it.

Just a few days ago, we have reported that they are still intending to bring him back for Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans. Four years back, in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, he had lost the holy grail of his career that is the streak. So, WWE would like to present him in front of the audience in some special capacity.

Supporting the earlier statement, cagesideseats.com reported that the retirement of the Deadman retiring is partially true. The creative does not have any plans to make him wrestle, ever again. He might not be in the shape, either, now that a hip surgery was done to him. But, they are keen to keep him associated with the show in some special appearances.

The Voice of the WWE, Michael Cole has been clearly instructed by the Boss that he always announces the word ‘probably’ before spelling out anything about Undertaker’s last match. This is also a hint the fans not to be heartbroken yet since they can expect to witness him back. However, as per the source, there’s no chance of seeing him competing inside a ring.

The Undertaker has always been considered as the locker room leader personality among the superstars. So, after he recuperates from the hip surgery, the creative staffs want to him keep him around in order to use his vast experience. Although, not confirmed but this role is going to be something similar to that of Kurt Angle being the Raw General Manager.
