In a surprising alteration, the scheduled matchup between The Undertaker and Rusev is cancelled.
As per yesterday’s announcement, these two were scheduled to feature in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27th. But, Rusev was not willing to compete in this match, at all.
Hence, another veteran stepped up against The Deadman to feature in this match. Chris Jericho will make his return to the WWE, on that night. So, The Phenome against Y2J has been made official in a Casket Match. It is going to be a slobber-knocker in the match card.
As for the fans, a match with these two future Hall of Famers is mouth-watering. At this point, we could have barely imagined witnessing these two legends in the same ring, at the same time. But, WWE is pulling out all the stops to give an entertaining night to the Saudi Arabia fans and hence, they are leaving no stones unturned.

Check out WWE.com hyping-up this match that will be contested under special capacity for the first time,
“Originally, the Casket Match was to be between The Deadman and Rusev. However, Lana, who originally showed public support for her husband competing against The Undertaker, recently Tweeted second thoughts over The Bulgarian Brute competing in the grisly bout.
Although Jericho has never been a part of such an ominous showdown, WWE’s first Undisputed Champion has battled in virtually every other kind of match WWE has to offer, and if his extensive resume says anything, it’s that he knows how to win when it counts.”

This change of the lineup came as a major surprise to the WWE fans. We do not see such alteration in a match card of an event unless a superstar gets injured and medically unfit. In this particular case, a superstar from the roster was not willing to compete in a match and that too, The Undertaker which is the rarest case.
For months now, Rusev is complaining about not getting the push that he needs on the roster.
Once this match at the Greatest Royal Rumble was sanctioned, he denied getting buried by the Undertaker. Hopefully, this does not create a backstage heat for the Bulgarian Brute. If it does happen then, we might get to see the last of him in the WWE.
