Wrestlemania season is inching closer leaving us wondering about the match lineups. We keep on guessing which will be the marquee matches in this year’s biggest event of the year. Marquee superstars work in these big matches to make the show successful. The Undertaker has always been one of those big names in this event.
The Undertaker is not leaving WWE
In fact, The Undertaker has become synonymous with the Wrestlemania phrase who helped to build the brand, over the years. So rumors are running rampant about the next opponent in-store for him. Also, there are speculations going on about his contract expiry with the WWE that put the future appearances in jeopardy.
We do believe that The Undertaker will be appearing at Wrestlemania 35 no matter what. There may not be any match in the making for him as of now. But WWE will bring him into the show in some capacity, at least. This could even be in a surprise appearance which is yet to be confirmed. But reports are out predicting the same situation.
According to the reports of Mike Johnson on PW Insider Elite Radio, there is not much news about a match for the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 35. However, there’s still a month to go for the grandest stage of them all. So things can drastically change in due course. Here’s what the source has offered,
“The Undertaker I would expect to have him as a cameo. I haven’t heard about him, wrestling. Remember they didn’t advertise that he was really, really, really gonna be there until WrestleMania was already taking place.” (via ringsidenews.com)
The source was clearly indicating what happened at last year’s Wrestlemania. Reports already confirmed about his retirement after his loss against The Undertaker at the previous edition. However, he has undergone hip surgery and showed up on the day of Wrestlemania to have a match. John Cena had to sit at ringside as a fan in order to bring the Deadman back to in-ring competition from a permanent hiatus.

The last time we saw The Undertaker competing in WWE was in the month of November. It was a tag team match with Kane against DX at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. We expect him to be back on board in time for Wrestlemania 35. Plus, he should also perform in a match at the annual show in Saudi Arabia in the month of May.
