WWE News: Three Big Matches Announced For No Mercy PPV 1

It is a fact that WWE is leaving no stones unturned to arrange the No Mercy PPV so that it is no more considered as a B-grade PPV, anymore. First, we have been confirmed about two Wrestlemania-worthy main event matches at the event.

The first one was the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. Secondly, it will cause the collision between two generations when John Cena and Roman Reigns lock horns at the event. Plus, we have been confirmed of three more marquee matches set to take place on the night.

As reported by WWE.com, the rematch for the Raw tag team championships will be held at No Mercy. The official website confirmed that the rematch clause was invoked by the former champs, Sheamus & Cesaro and they will get it against the current champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Check out the confirmation, here:

“At WWE No Mercy, Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins will go head-to-head against former titleholders Cesaro & Sheamus in a tough-as-nails SummerSlam Rematch. Don’t miss what is sure to be an explosive Raw Tag Team Championship showdown at WWE No Mercy, Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on WWE Network.”

The bad blood between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt is continuing as witnessed on WWE Raw, this past couple of weeks. Hence, they will collide in yet another tooth-and-nail showdown at the upcoming PPV. Here is the confirmation from WWE,

“Though Bray Wyatt failed to defeat Finn Bálor at SummerSlam, The New Face of Fear has found a way to put The Demon to rest, as his Irish adversary will step into the darkness without the help of his alter-ego in a highly anticipated SummerSlam rematch on Sunday, Sept. 24, at WWE No Mercy.”

Plus, after complaining for a long time for not getting title opportunities, Emma and Nia Jax will finally get to compete in a championship match. The titleholder Alexa Bliss will have no mercy against the three challengers Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Emma as they will feature in a fatal-4-way Raw Women’s Championship match.
