The Road to Wrestlemania is certainly heating up with Elimination Chamber waiting for us within just two weeks. This week’s Smackdown should take the competitions among superstars even higher matching up with a packed card of WWE Raw. The Tuesday night show has now confirmed three huge matches on one single night as a counter-announcement from the red brand.
WWE Hall of Famer return to action on WWE Raw after two decades
The participants of Elimination Chamber will lock horns with each other in two big matches. The first confirmed bout will take place between Randy Orton and Mustafa Ali. It is a fresh matchup on Smackdown that could be a solid match. With the high-flying actions of Ali and the intensities of Randy Orton, this one has the chances to steal the show. Here are WWE’s confirmations on this match on the official website,
“With both Ali and Orton slotted for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match on Feb. 17, each Superstar will look to take the other down a peg in hopes of putting themselves in prime position to leave with the WWE Title in roughly two weeks’ time. Can Ali pick up another major victory or will The Viper strike him down prior to the monumental championship showdown? Find out this Tuesday night at 8/7 C on SmackDown LIVE.”
The other big match of the night is a dream lineup where the Charismatic Enigma faces the wrath of the WWE Champion. It will be Daniel Bryan up against the new Daniel Bryan. These two are the very best in-ring technicians when it comes to a match. WWE Universe has seen this match, last year on Smackdown.
But back then both of them used to be babyfaces. Right now, Daniel Bryan is at the top of his game with the championship in hand. Rowan will be in his corner providing a big advantage. This should turn out to be the deciding factor in the match where the weighing balance stands with the champion,
“’The New’ Daniel Bryan will defend his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber against five of SmackDown LIVE’s top Superstars at the titular event on Feb. 17. But one of those opponents, Jeff Hardy, will look to get a jump on building some momentum when he faces off with Bryan this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE.”
The third match of the night will feature an interesting lineup. Rusev and Nakamura will team up who were bitter rivals even last week. But they have decided to join forces since R-Truth stole the title that was hanging in the balance between them. As for tonight, they will take on in a tag team match against The Good Brothers.
