A TV-rating war is about to start in the world of pro-wrestling from October onwards. It will mark the debut of All Elite Wrestling’s debut show on the TNT Network whereas NXT will move to the USA Network leaving the familiar zone of WWE Network. So, the pro-wrestling world might think Wednesday nights are going to be pretty crucial at this point.

This leads us to the obvious thought that NXT will bring more famous names from the main roster to attract the WWE fans, by any means. After all, Vince McMahon is looking forward to beating the rival brand, achieving more ratings. This could lead him to take a number of surprises as well.

One of them would be to conduct a return from Triple H, not on the main roster but on the NXT brand. For those who don’t know, The Game wears many hats in WWE depending on what’s going on at present. He is The Boss OF WWE NXT that means he has to take care of the storylines as well as looking after the superstars.

So could there be a case where Triple H compete against a superstar from his own creation? While speaking to Talk Sport, the Cerebral Assassin of WWE answered the question and mentioned that it’s not happening. He has helped to establish the NXT brand in many ways, but there is not any interest to mix it up with the NXT Superstars, (quotes courtesy ringsidenews.com)

“To be honest? No. Obviously when I’m at those events and I can feel the passion and everything with the crowd [I want to], but I’m so busy into these other talents. And trust me, there’s almost a day that doesn’t go by where I don’t get a text from somebody on these rosters who go ‘what if…’ or ‘what if Shawn [Michaels]…’ or ‘what if you…’ and that’s flattering, I understand that. Look, I watch what they do – I couldn’t hang! Not even in the ballpark anymore.

[It’s] Flattering. Obviously the performer in you, anytime you hear a group of people going crazy with that much passion, you go like man, that’s awesome. I don’t know, I almost feel like I get more buzz, the adrenaline buzz, sitting and watching them succeed. They don’t need us, they don’t. And that’s what’s different about this brand. It’s not a need thing, it’s not like Raw or SmackDown ‘need’. The beautiful thing about our business is every now and again, Babe Ruth can come out and take a swing, you know what I mean?.”

Now, plans can definitely change depending on the upcoming situations. This might happen down the road as Vince McMahon want as the Wednesday Night Wars will continue. If McMahon wants to insert his son-in-law in an angle to pull off huge ratings, then he will certainly do it for the betterment of WWE NXT programming.
