Triple H was back to in-ring competition during WWE’s South America’s tour in October. At that point, Roman Reigns was pulled off from the event due to his infection by Mumps virus. Also, names like AJ Styles and Kevin Owens were unable to work in the show over personal issues. So, to make it up for the fans, the officials needed the most trusted soldier of the troops, Triple H.
The Game keeps himself always ready to perform in-house shows, whenever required. So, he did not hesitate while competing in a match against Rusev on the show from Chile. It was an entertaining match for the fans in attendance which marked the comeback of Triple H following Wrestlemania 33.
With this appearance, Triple H also confirmed himself for the United Kingdom tour of the WWE. He acted as the replacement of Roman Reigns and acted as the third member of The Shield aligning himself with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
Also, he was quick to make his TV return on WWE Raw so that he could perform at the Survivor Series PPV even. He was one of the five competitors at the traditional tag team match at the last dual brand PPV of the year. Plus, some main events got declared for the near future featuring the 14-time world champion.
The veteran wrestler appeared in an interview with The USA Today and noted on these quick appearances inside the ring. At this time, he has transitioned into a role of a corporate officer in the company but what drives him even at this point, as a wrestler is quite amazing. Check out his comments,
“Hey, this is fun.’ One night I’m working with Rusev, the next night I’m going up twerking with the New Day, the next night I’m in the ring with the Shield. I heard a lot of fan comments when we were there; people say ‘It’s really cool, this is so special.’ They have no idea how special it’s been for me.”
Triple H will be appearing in WWE Live in India against Jinder Mahal in December. Just a night before the appearance, he will participate in Wrestlemania rematch against Roman Reigns in Abu Dhabi.
