WWE News: Triple H Hinted to Lock Horns With The Rock 1

Triple H was in India, recently to promote the upcoming live event in December. He was part of numerous media events for the marketing campaigns of the Raw-branded house show in Delhi. Some of the lucky fans had received the chance to meet and great, the 14-time world champion. Also, he was also part of an interview on Facebook from Mumbai.

The interviewer asked him about the relationship that he shares with The Rock. She also mentioned whether there’s any possibility of seeing this match at the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. The Game did not wipe out the idea. Instead, he positively nods to the match which could be the biggest one if arranged shortly.

The Cerebral Assassin did mention he shares a great rapport with the former franchise player of the WWE. But, the thing is that they both are quite busy at this time. So, their schedule needs to get matched while having this dream matchup.

Triple H also mentioned they shared a moment on Smackdown Live during the 15th anniversary of the program in 2014 where a tease of the upcoming feud was made. But, unfortunately, the bout did not come to fruition. Check out WWE EVP of talent relations comments, here:

“About two years ago, he and I(The Rock) did a backstage promo with each other where we talked about WrestleMania and the competitive nature of it, and it lit up the internet about the possibility of it. It’s something we’ve discussed. It’s just making schedules work; he’s pretty busy I am too. But hey, right place, right time? I’ll dance one more time with The Great One, Rock.”

According to the previous reports of Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H vs The Rock was supposed to be the main event of Wrestlemania 32. It was to ensure a mega treatment to the 100000 people gathering at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. However, The Rock’s movie commitment barred him from wrestling, once again. Previously, during the Attitude Era, this was one of the finest rivalries of all time. So, the WWE Universe would like to see this one happening, once more.
