WWE News: Triple H Made a Surprise Appearance at an Indie Wrestling Scene 1

When it comes to the pro-wrestling industry, there’s a saying which is ‘never say never’. It certainly indicates the unpredictability of this business. We should always learn to ‘expect the unexpected’ while staying connected with the incidents from this industry.

WWE Superstars are not allowed to enter the indie promotion scenes unless they are granted special permission. In recent times, AJ Styles made such an appearance in a show hosted by NWA Wildside Reunion show in Georgia to pay tribute to his earlier stint under the banner.

Now, one of head honchos of the WWE, Triple H had made a surprise appearance on an independent wrestling promotion in the United Kingdom. As WWE was in the midst of a UK tour, The Game was visiting many places to promote the WWE products as well as to inspire the independent companies.

It is the reason why he made a special appearance with the United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne during a show hosted by the Insane Championship Wrestling event in Cardiff. He performed his signature entrance with spitting water out of his mouth, as the fans started to chant, ‘holy s**t’.

The 14-time WWE Champion gave a speech to the fans present in the arena by saying that he has been pretty busy for the past few days. But, he wanted to take time to let the fans know that the promotions like ICW are where the business starts. So, he requested the fans always to keep supporting this indie scene promotions.

The fans responded to him chanting NXT. This appearance is certainly going to increase the amount of confidence for the reigning UK Champion who is Triple H guy. In case you don’t know, he also uses the iconic entrance and finishing manoeuvre of his mentor.

In an interview with the Mirror, Pete clarified the reasons for him using this. He also added that Triple H found humour on this,

“I think it just came about, it was kind of the angle we had taken on at PROGRESS at the time, that we thought we were too good for the place and moving on, using PROGRESS as a platform to get to bigger and better things. It just all sort of came from that.”
