WWE News: Triple H Not Happy With NXT’s Current Situation 1

The WWE previously used to have a developmental territory of FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) before they started a show called NXT back in 2010. Based on the WWE performance center in Orlando, Florida, it was only a show which was used to pick up new talents with some random competition.

It was Triple H who took the division under his wings to redesign it as a separate brand. He created championships for the brand and signed top talents over the world which also allowed the indie stars to try out in the company. As a result, we have got superstars like Rollins, Ambrose, Owens, Zayn on our main roster.

The story of the NXT has always been a success until now which is seeing a void of some prime names in the brand which makes the show stagnant. Despite putting up a great show during the NXT Takeover: San Antonio, the fans complained about the variety of the NXT product and the EVP of talent relationship, Triple H addressed it during a press conference.

Quite surprisingly, he agreed to the fact and said he is not happy with NXT’s current situation. He blamed the earlier call-ups of the talents to the main roster during the brand extension draft by saying:

“I’m not happy with where it is right now by far. I want it to be much better than it is, but it’s a rebuilding process. All these things going on, they all make changes in the ecosystem. Where everything lands at the end of the day is a moving target”.

However, the Game also hinted that they will be undergoing several changes to ensure the quality of the NXT product in due course. This is just a rebuilding phase and might not last longer. This was his further comments:

“There are some things and some changes that I’m hopeful will happen sooner than later that will expand it and make the show better.”

It’s a fact that the previous NXT call-ups had helped the main roster to put some variety match ups but it did harm the NXT scene with no such big signees in recent times. We can expect some big names from the indie scenes to make the division glorious again.
