WWE.com was quick to address the interaction between these two veterans and posted the following in order to congratulate Chelsea for their Premier League win and the first-ever WWE championship victory! Check out the statements from WWE’s official website:
“Triple H sent a custom WWE Title to Chelsea Football Club to celebrate its 2016-17 Premier League Championship. Chelsea captain John Terry and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic proudly showed off the custom title at Stamford Bridge, the famed football club’s home stadium, ahead of its season finale.”
It was a classic move from the fourteen time WWE champion, Triple H who is a true successor of his father-in-law and the owner of the WWE, Vince McMahon.
He always wants to garner mainstream media attention by taking such short steps and no wonder he wanted to expose John Terry’s love towards pro-wrestling.

Chelsea behemoth is a self-confessed WWE fan from the very beginning. Last year, he attended a live event arranged by the WWE in London, England. His entire family accompanied him there, too. In order to let his children meet their favourite WWE superstars, he stayed for the after party held following the show.
Even during WWE’s UK tour, two weeks ago, he was supposed to be present on Smackdown Live but he got extremely busy with his Football schedule.
Now that, he is done achieving the sixth Premier League victory, he is off to go into the sunset. The match against Tottenham Hotspur was his last, as a Chelsea player, last night. We want to wish him the best in his future endeavours.
