WWE News: Triple H Responded to UK Fans Wanting Wrestlemania 1

WWE is in the middle of a United Kingdom tour that started on November 1st. It is the particular time of the year when the entire roster flies to the overseas to entertain the huge fanbase present in the Great Britain. This year, the hype-up was bigger considering Kurt Angle and Triple H on tour.

Whereas this marked Kurt Angle’s first UK tour after a decade, Triple H was chosen as a replacement for Roman Reigns. The franchise player of the company is absent from the shows owing to his viral affection. Hence, The Game is filling up the third vacant seat for The Shield, as he is joining the duo of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in the house shows.

During such a live event in the UK, the crowd became very vocal about not getting Wrestlemania in the UK. For quite some time now, the WWE fans want the biggest spectacle event of the year to be held across the pond that is in the city of London. But, WWE has never intended to host it in the UK.

So, once the match of the Shield was done, they started chanting ‘we want Mania’ so that Triple H gets intimidated and respond to them. That’s what exactly happened, as The Game took the mic in hand and responded to the crowd. It was his answer to the crowd,

“You all have an accent, and it’s hard for us. But if you are loud enough, maybe he can hear you across the pond.”

The man Triple H was referring to was none other than Vince McMahon who was sitting in WWE headquarters in Connecticut. When it comes to hosting the showcase of immortals, he is the one to approve it. The UK fans wanted to take Wrestlemania outside the US, but the Boss has never responded to their pledge.

However, the scenario has changed in recent times, as WWE has conducted a poll on their official website asking the fans in which city they would like to see Wrestlemania to get hosted. London was included into the list which is quite a positive sign. For now, the next edition of Mania is set to take place in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
