WWE News: Triple H Returned on WWE Raw, Mick Foley Makes Hell in a Cell Announcement
The Super Show Down between the Undertaker and Triple H has certainly become interesting. The Deadman rose last week to give a strong statement to The Game. Shawn Michaels was also present on WWE Raw to pick his best friend, as the potential winner for the upcoming battle in Melbourne, Australia.
But The Undertaker was not happy with the comments of HBK. So he challenged him to come out of retirement and face him in the returning match. It sent the WWE fans to a frenzy thinking of the veteran superstar’s return. Meanwhile, WWE Raw confirmed the presence of Triple H to give his thought on this situation.
An added attraction was also present on WWE Raw on this occasion. Mick Foley is the name who knows both the Undertaker and Triple H better than anybody. So he resurfaced as well on the show. It was a special moment for him, as he got the opportunity to talk about his iconic Hell in a Cell showdown’s 20th anniversary.
Triple H was the first to walk into the Smoothie King Center to talk about this returning match against The Undertaker. He talked that Shawn Michaels was right about the prediction of this matchup. He will put the Deadman to rest, just like that. There’s a strong reason behind this as ‘Taker is not the same guy that he used to be.
The Undertaker was the one possessing the aura that scared away the superstars. But he is not the same guy anymore who lost the undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. Furthermore, his increasing age also left an adverse effect on his striking force. So the job for The Game would be very easy come this October 8th. He promised to pick up an easy win against the greatest entertainer of all-time.
Mick Foley came out on WWE Raw at a later point to let us remember about the memories from 1998 Hell in a Cell. His alter-ego, Mankind delivered the best Hell in a Cell match to date against The Undertaker. We thought he might take his greatest opponent’s side opposing to Triple H. But, he gave blockbuster news instead of to the WWE Raw audience in New Orleans.
The Hardcore Legends will be the special guest referee for the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. Stephanie McMahon made this decision to ensure the match remains fair and square under safe hands.
Well, this changes the complexion of the upcoming title match to a big extent. Fans now have Mick Foley on the card, as an added attraction for the contest.
