Ronda Rousey was last seen in the WWE while being in attendance for the Mae Young Classic on the WWE Network.
She was there to support her UFC partner, Shayna Baszler in the finale where she came short to win the match against Kairi Sane. We did not get any updates as to what is in store for the two of them in the company in future.
She has been the most dominant MMA fighter in the women’s history who used to hold a streak of her own. With her incredible charisma, she has sold out many shows that took place inside the octagon until suffering a loss at the hands of Holly Holm at UFC 203.
Since then, there’s no stopping about the news of her joining the WWE. In the bygone Mae Young Classic finale, Ronda Rousey was present alongside her friends from the WWE, Triple H and Ronda Rousey who might be the reason for her joining the WWE at a certain point.
The head honcho of the NXT and the Raw commissioner gave an interview to Las Vegas Review-Journal. Speaking of Ronda, Triple H stated that no matter where Ronda performs, she will always be a brilliant performer and hence she might be added to the WWE, sooner. Here are his comments:
“Do I think she would do well at this? She is a world-class athlete with an amazing personality. I don’t think I have to answer that.”
Stephanie McMahon is often considered as her buddy in the pro-wrestling circuit. These two share a great rapport with each other. So, it was evident that she should also make some comments about Ronda joining the WWE where she described Ronda as a natural born superstar,
“Ronda would be phenomenal. She has it all. She has the charisma; she has the ability, she is a badass. She is a natural-born WWE superstar if there ever was one.”
The previous speculation was that WWE would make a match for Survivor Series featuring Ronda Rousey. However, since no altercations happened, the chances were wiped out, later. Rather, she might get involved for Wrestlemania in a certain capacity.
