No need to worry after seeing the headline because we might be given a double treat by the WWE Creative. If going by the rumors, then we will be getting not one but two Rollins vs. Triple H match in the near future.
Triple H turned on his protégé, the night he decided to literally hand over the WWE Universal title to Kevin Owens after Summerslam. He hit Pedigree to Rollins to shock the entire world. This could be the biggest swerve that WWE has planned for us since they decided to break the most dominant faction in the company’s history i.e. the Shield.
We expected Triple H will return after the incident took place that night to carry on the feud between him and Rollins. But he decided to stay away from TV for sometime. We thought the feud might have been reserved for the Wrestlemania season. But reports suggest that the match will take place at the Royal Rumble PPV.
The WWE is trying to shatter the previous record set at the Royal Rumble at the Alamodome. There will be more than 60,000 fans attending the event and hence, the WWE is trying to bring the biggest names on that night. Hence, the match between Rollins and Triple H will go down at the Alamodome.
Triple H will be making his return to WWE TV in near future to start the feud directly with Rollins. This will culminate the much-anticipated match at the PPV scheduled on January 29, 2017. However, it’ll not be the end of their feud since this match will only work for a bigger match at Wrestlemania 33.
Rollins might end up losing the first match and hence he’ll start his crusade against the Game to bring on the final encounter. Previously, Rollins and Triple H squared off against each other in 2014.
