Making a conflict of interest, the renowned brand Maybelline has been accused of copying the gimmick of Sasha Banks in its latest brand campaign. The Legit Boss herself posted on twitter directing the same where she is standing in front of a poster of Maybelline.
It shows that the model used for the ad is wearing the same Boss ring which his part of Sasha Banks’ in-ring attire. The golden color of the ring was too retained. Plus, the campaign is featuring a tagline, “Lash like A Boss” which is certainly a stolen one.

It is evident that so much similarity does not come out just out of coincidence and Maybelline wanted to use the Boss gimmick, for sure. The only thing is that they have forgotten to give credit to either Banks or WWE. With that being said, it might be just a matter of time that WWE takes legal actions against the brand and its campaign.

Apart from this social media news, there has been quite speculations over what WWE might have in store for Sasha Banks for this year’s Wrestlemania. Considering that Bayley vs. Charlotte for the Raw Women’s championship is intact on that night, it was rumored that the Boss will get a match against Stephanie McMahon. But, that plan is recently scrapped since WWE has a heel turn reserved for him.
Sasha has been involved in the storyline of Bayley and Charlotte after she helped the current women’s champion to win the title. The creative is planning to make her the reason too when Bayley loses it. This will cement the heel turn for her and also will recreate these two’s rivalry from the NXT brand. The post-Wrestlemania season is bound to see a number of Bayley vs. Sasha matches if this plan is retained by the creative.
