The Smackdown creative team is ensuring to make the Hell in a Cell PPV as exciting as possible. It is the first time that they are hosting the PPV and has already been able to create quite a buzz around the event despite it being away for more than three weeks.
The storyline angles have been taken forward with this week’s edition of the show. Main event matches for the upcoming PPV has been announced, earlier. So, the proper build ups were organized towards it.
Jinder Mahal continued his mockery against the contender, Shinsuke Nakamura. This week, he had crossed the lines, as later noted by the commentary team which would help to create bad blood between the two. But, for two consecutive weeks, Nakamura was kept off the television for some unknown reasons.
Also, an interesting buildup was seen in the Smackdown women’s championship. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch returned to the show after a hiatus of few weeks. Later, a fatal-4-way match was announced to determine the number one contender for Natalya’s title.
So, once again on the main event of Smackdown, the female athletes of the roster tore the house apart. In the end, the Queen emerged victorious to become the challenger who will get the match at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
Also, the rematch for the tag team titles was announced on the show on the same event in October. Overall, it turned out to be a good show. But, the only concern was that this week the show witnessed a low attendance. The same happened on Raw, as well. Check out the Twitter reactions from the show,
