WWE News: Two Legends Returning at Greatest Royal Rumble Event 1

WWE is trying to host the Greatest Royal Rumble event in the most spectacular way possible.

The name itself suggests the biggest battle royal would get hosted in the company’s history. Furthermore, there would be several names competing in a total seven number of matches which have been confirmed by the company.

Two of the title matches are going to be The Hardys vs The Bar for the Raw Tag-Team Titles and Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor vs The Miz in a fatal-4-way Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Both of these are going to spectacular contests on the April 27th night.

John Cena and Triple H would lock horns for the first time in nearly eight years. Furthermore, 50 superstars will be competing in the largest Royal Rumble match hosted by the company.

Obviously, there is a certain reason which is why WWE is trying to host the event in the biggest way possible.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted on this topic in recent times. He confirmed the main reason for this stacked card is money. WWE has signed a huge deal with the Saudi Arabia sports authorities which is why they are bound to bring the who’s who of the company.

Furthermore, the fans would be delighted to know that two huge names are being contacted to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. Apparently,

The Undertaker and Chris Jericho are the two names that are being considered to stack-up the card, even more. Check out the quotes from the source,

“Because of the money in the deal with Saudi Arabia and running a 62,000-seat arena, they want all hands on deck. There were attempts to get both Undertaker and Jericho on the show, but at this point neither have been confirmed.”

It is clear from the source that neither one of the legendary superstars is confirmed to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. Even if it gets finalized at one point, no official statement is expected to come out since surprise capacity would be reserved for these two. Till date, Kane, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Daniel Bryan were announced to appear in this match which would be broadcasted live on WWE Network on April 27th.
