WWE News: Update On Finn Balor Vs. Bray Wyatt Rivalry 1

The rivalry between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt started back in July when the latter one cost Balor in a singles matchup against Elias. Since then, the heel superstar has caused distractions for the former Universal Champion on numerous occasions making the feud entirely personal one. This caused the first-ever matchup between the two of them at the most significant PPV of the summer, i.e. Summerslam.

This was the first time in one year that we have witnessed the Demon King persona of Finn Balor. Due to the creative team protecting this particular character, the babyface superstar picked up the win quite convincingly. The initial thought was that match would have marked the end of this rivalry.

However, Wyatt continued to chase down Balor even after that which became repeated affair resulting in the second match at No Mercy which was also won by Balor. Going forward, the eater of the world added a completely new complexion to the feud by bringing in the Sister Abigail persona into the mix.

For the past few weeks, Wyatt suggested that his sister is alive and will come along to help him. Last week on Raw, we have seen his weird face on the titantron. As per speculation, we have expected a female superstar to play the eerie character of Abigail. But, it turned out to be the alter ego of the former WWE Champion.

As for now, we can expect a match to be confirmed between these two superstars at the TLC PPV. For the first time, Wyatt might compete in the match with the face-paint on, i.e. in the Sister Abigail persona. Considering that this Sunday’s PPV is that particular night where every match gets contested in a special environment, the bout should go down with an added stipulation.

Meanwhile, Finn Balor sat down for an interview with Brian Campbell on his “In the corner” podcast and stated that he liked the fact that Wyatt is using his supernatural powers against him. This gives an extra motivation to prove and make himself better. Check out his comments,

“You can only get better by challenging yourself. I don’t know how fans are reacting to it, I don’t know how critics are reacting to it, but for me, I’m welcoming the challenge and enjoying it.”
