WWE News: Update on John Cena and Brock Lesnar’s Return 1

The No Mercy PPV marked a hiatus for both John Cena and Brock Lesnar from the WWE programming. In the mentioned PPV, both of them featured in marquee matches that were Wrestlemania-worthy. Cena had the dream matchup against Roman Reigns and came up short, as expected due to the time-off.

On the other hand, the beast incarnate toppled the challenge of Braun Strowman in another main event championship match. Despite all the momentums on the contender’s side, Lesnar hit a devastating F-5 to pick up the win and take another time-off from his WWE schedule.

Now, wrestlingINC.com has provided some updates regarding when these two main event players will be back on track. Considering the last dual brand PPV of 2017 is approaching fast, they should be back on track as early as possible. It would be the Survivor Series event on November 19th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

According to the source, Brock Lesnar will be back in time to work in that event despite WWE universe thinking that he will be a no-show for the remaining part of this year. He is already getting advertised for the post-TLC episode of WWE Raw, i.e. on October 23rd.

It is certainly an indication that the Universal Champion will get included in the buildup for the last dual brand PPV of the year. Plus, he has also been booked for the go home episode of the show on November 13th in Atlanta, Georgia. It solidifies the fact of his upcoming involvements on the Raw brand.

As for the Cenation Leader, he is quite busy filming the Transformer Series spinoff movie – BumbleBee. But, he will also be returning to work at the Survivor Series event. The initial posters of the event suggest that he will be involved in another marquee match at that night.

The source hinted Cena would be involved in a feud with his former Wrestlemania opponent. It will be none other than Bray Wyatt who is pitted against him once he comes back on the show. He might get booked in the traditional Survivor Series tag team elimination matchup, as well.
