WWE has recently fuelled up the rumors around Brock Lesnar. There have been some constant speculations about his contract with the WWE. We learned about a new deal between the two parties following Wrestlemania 34.

No updates were available about the extension of the deal. It is why there are no confirmations about Brock’s next appearances on TV programming.

The general manager of WWE Raw, Kurt Angle informed us about the deal of Brock Lesnar. His contract allowed him to terminate the multi-man at Extreme Rules. The authority figures of the WWE were uncertain about giving a chance to any certain superstars to be the new challenger for the Universal Championship.

So we were about to get a contest featuring multiple superstars from WWE Raw. But now it looks like there have been some disputes in Lesnar’s contract. We don’t know exactly what it is because Angle did not mention it ever. But it is official that a singles action will take place between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley to determine the next contender.

Meanwhile, we don’t know when Brock Lesnar will show up to defend his championship, again. Summerslam is the most appropriate place and venue for the same. But the speculations suggest there are still some negotiations going on. Cagesideseats.com wiped out all of those chances. It stated there’s no way the biggest box-office attraction of the WWE will not be present at Summerslam.

The source suggested the Universal Championship will be on the line at the August event. All of these rumors are just likely to keep Brock Lesnar at the center of attention. It is an excellent way to keep the title relevant too during its absence from the show. WrestleVotes also supported this idea stating it’s just an ongoing storyline on the flagship brand. Here’s the update from the source,

“Lot of false rumblings circulating about Brock Lesnar & SummerSlam. Unless something is seriously wrong between the two parties, he’ll be working the event, and I haven’t heard that to be the case. It’s storyline at this point. Brock will be in Brooklyn.”

It is likely that Brock Lesnar will be back on WWE TV either tonight or the last week in July. He will give a response to the WWE Raw GM, live-in-person or via satellite. It is his usual timing to be back on screen to set up the hypes for Summerslam. This year is not going to be anything different too.
