An injury-scare broke out in the WWE around Big Cass. It happened in a live event hosted at the UK tour of the company. The concerned name injured his knee on the concluding house show from Smackdown. The host of the show was Munich, Germany where the big man clutched his knee, at one point.
Big Cass was sitting at the ringside for quite sometimes. The official present in the ring checked him and signaled to the backstage area. Further officials ran out to help the injured star to the back. He was visibly limping while heading back to the locker room. The referee disqualified the match, right away.
The fans started thinking whether the injury is legit or not. It happened several times in the past that the superstars were feigning injuries to sell it.
This time the injury proved to be legit, as Big Cass could not participate in the MITB qualifier on Smackdown. The last spots were up for grabs between him and Samoa Joe.

Paige confirmed Big Cass is dealing with a concussion and have to stay away from in-ring competition. Now, the concern turned into another serious issue. It is not the first time that the seven-footer is dealing with such knee rupture. He tore his MCL, last year and was out of action for almost eight months.
So, it is likely he might have reinjured the same place. He had to stay away from the squared circle, in that case. The speculations increased after we spotted Big Cass in bad condition on Smackdown. He was unable to stand on his legs and needed crutches to walk around.
It looks like that the injury is legit. The commentators informed us that Big Cass could not perform due to this. They did not give an update on the extent of the injury.
We hope he would be sitting out for the upcoming weeks. He will have to go through some more medical tests by the doctors. We wait for a confirmed update on his situation in next week or so.
He was in the middle of a feud against Daniel Bryan in the recent weeks. The injury did put an abrupt halt to it. It is not good for the just-started career of Big Cass.
Another long hiatus can take him out of the equation, permanently. The fact he was present on Smackdown TV taping is the only positive thing about his career. It indicates he does not need longer time to recover.
