Brock Lesnar was said to be having the first confrontation against Roman Reigns to start the Wrestlemania angle on the Raw episode from Anaheim, California.
The latter one won the Elimination Chamber to become the number one contender for the Universal Championship. Hence, the storyline over the title will kick-off in the upcoming weeks.
Quite surprisingly, the champion was a ‘no-show’ on WWE Raw. So, the creative team replaced the face-off segment with a solo promo from Roman Reigns. Speculations started running rampant whether there’s a backstage heat going on around the title-holder or not especially after his meeting with Dana White.
On February 25th, the entire Raw roster worked for the Elimination Chamber PPV. Protected by his exclusive contract with the company, the beast incarnate was the only one not to show up. He also posted a picture with UFC president Dana White on the same day in the same city of Las Vegas.
Apparently, the officials were not happy with this.

So, they kept Brock Lesnar off the flagship show, the very next night, according to the rumours. But, this might not be the case. According to a report from SportsKeeda.com, this is just a ‘work’ within the creative team to make a fool out of each of the fans.
Even, the UFC head-honcho is a part of it which is why he shared the picture with his former employee.
It helped to fuel up the rumours of Brock Lesnar leaving the WWE after Wrestlemania and will sign a contract with the UFC brand, once again.
But, in reality, that might not be the case. The reigning champion’s working dates for the entire year are said to be over which is why from now onwards, he can take a night off, as per his wish.

However, the officials will now exercise the clause in his contract where they can force the champion to work some extra dates. In this case, he will have to be paid additional amounts according to the number of added dates including Wrestlemania.
This will keep him working some house shows en route to Wrestlemania.
The latest in the list was a live event at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Brock Lesnar defended his championship successfully against Kane in a singles competition which was the main event attraction for the crowd.
Paul Heyman posted some update on the social media, before the show confirming the appearance.
