WWE Universe surely remembers the name of John Morrison. This man used to impress us on a weekly basis with his charismatic ability.
WWE signed John Morrison under their wing back in 2005. It was his high-flying ability that made him the heartthrob of the fans. He did not have to wait for a long time to get a push on the roster.
John Morrison became a multi-time tag team champion on the roster. He used to be the partner of the Miz at one point of his career. The latter one turned heel to go to the main event status in his career. His former partner stuck in the mid-card championship level.

WWE made him multi-time Intercontinental Champion, but he was not happy with his status in the company. A talent like him deserved to be in the main event picture on a constant basis. It led to a fallout with the company officials. So, he decided to leave the WWE after his contract got over in 2011.
Numerous other promotion used him as the marquee star on their card from then onwards. John Morrison changed his name to Johnny Mundo or Johnny Impact or John Hennigan. He used all these names around different promotions.
For most of his indie scene stint, he performed for the Lucha Underground promotion. He moved on to the Impact Wrestling scene starting from last year. Another promotion is looking forward to signing this man under their wings. The recent reports suggest John Morrison might be Japan-bound.

There’re some restrictions from NJPW’s part for his former employer, AAA (owner of Lucha Underground). The limits are likely to be over which means John might be heading to NJPW.

“John Hennigan, better known to WWE fans as John Morrison, has inquired about working with the company. (NJPW) Previously the company had been interested in working with him, but they held off due to the fact that he was working for AAA, and NJPW didn’t want to use AAA talent because of their association with CMLL.”
