All Elite Wrestling has brought a change in the pro-wrestling business in recent times. This is a new promotion that is reportedly said to be having the chances to throw a major competition to the WWE. The owner of the company Tony Khan is also a billionaire like the Vince McMahon. He can throw tough challenges to the biggest wrestling promotion.

WWE’s undisputed champion joins All Elite Wrestling

That can start by attacking the WWE roster straight away. Speculations are running rampant hinting that a chunk of superstars from the WWE is in the target list of All Elite Wrestling promotion. As soon as their contract gets over with the WWE, they will go all out to get them. Chris Jericho has already signed with them Goldberg in the waiting list.

Goldberg wants to face WWE’s franchise player

Recently, Goldberg started following the Twitter handle of All Elite Wrestling and Double or Nothing event. It hinted that he might be heading to the brand new company. AEW President Tony Khan addressed the rumors while appearing in the Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 12360 show. He seemed interested to get Bill Goldberg under his banner.

Here are his words that confirmed that these two already had a conversation,

“I have spent some time with Bill, I really like Bill, a lot, and he’s one of the greatest drawing cards ever in the business. He’s a huge star, a household name, and yeah, if the situation was right, obviously. I haven’t agreed to anything with Bill, but I like him a lot.”

So a deal between the two parties is yet to be official. The former WCW franchise player is obviously a big draw to any of the promotion. Even WWE brought him back to garner big attention in 2016 that led him a Wrestlemania appearance. This was his final WWE appearance in a match in 2017. Afterward, Goldberg became a free agent.

WWE has already inducted Goldberg into the Hall of Fame. So it is not likely that they will call him back for an in-ring stint. This is the reason why he can try luck outside the big league. It will be interesting to see whether The Myth chooses to go to All Elite Wrestling promotion in the future. This could be a huge draw for the new company.

Another name is on the rumor mill that could join All Elite Wrestling promotion. He is former Intercontinental Champion, Ryback. He chose to leave the company back in 2016. He has never really been part of any promotions, thereafter. He heard the speculations of his wrestling future in AEW.

This is the following statement through which he clarified the situation,

“I’m extremely happy for all involved and have known Cody Rhodes a long time. I have 2 more stem cell procedures and a shoulder scope to get me where I need to be in January and will then evaluate everything wrestling wise. I can’t be anything less than my best ever if I return.”
