We have witnessed a back and forth contest between Triple H and Seth Rollins at last night’s Wrestlemania. It was an unsanctioned match between these two bitter rivals after a lot of bad blood ongoing for the past several months. Plus, the audience wanted the match to happen for a long time now.
Rollins was finally able to come out of all the pains caused by his former mentor by pinning him one-two-three in the middle of the ring. The protégé might have sought the ultimate redemption but the storyline is still to continue.
As per the rumour mill, Triple H will continue appearing on Raw for the post-Wrestlemania season to stack the odds against the Architect. He will let Samoa Joe do the damage this time to Rollins’ injured knee.
The storyline will continue with an upcoming feud between Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins.
They would have at least a couple of matches on Raw and PPVs, supposedly. On the other hand, Triple H will create a heel faction on Raw with his gems, Samoa and the US champion, Kevin Owens.
This dominant group is likely to take the control of the WWE, in near future.
It is evident that Samoa Joe will be getting an imminent push considering that he is under the wings of the Cerebral Assassin. Hence, this win of Rollins will not help him to go into the title picture. Rather, he might end up putting over the newer member of the Raw roster.
Meanwhile, with last night’s Wrestlemania loss, Triple H holds a new record under his name. He now possesses the most number of losses faced at the show of shows, overall. The Game had lost 12 matches at Wrestlemania, which is more than any other performers in the WWE.
Heading into the Citrus Bowl, he stood at the number 11 which was a tie between him and Shawn Michaels. Apart from the Undertaker, these two have wrestled more matches at Wrestlemania than anybody. Despite the King of Kings that he is, this record shows that he is a fair performer when it comes to the showcase of immortals.
