The fall of 2018 has seen a lot of part-timers headlining big shows. The Undertaker was the center of all of these. The other characters were Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Kane that produced a dream tag team match at Crown Jewel PPV event. This eventually turned out to be a first-time ever match among these four names.

Shawn Michaels came out of retirement to participate in this dream tag team match. HBK teamed with Triple H, while The Undertaker teamed with Kane. D-Generation X featured in a first-time ever match against Brothers of Destruction. Eventually, DX won the match via a Pedigree to Kane. He was able to do this despite an injury bothering him.

We reported earlier that Triple H suffered an injury at Crown Jewel show. He tore his pectoral muscle after a throw from Kane over the top rope. This forced Hunter to go through a surgery which would keep him out of action for several months. Apparently, it could affect the future of Shawn Michaels, too, keeping his Wrestlemania appearance in jeopardy.

The previous reports gave updates that a rematch is in the works between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Wrestlemania 35 could be the place to see this match. Speculations even suggested that this match could be the final match of the Deadman. There were some serious planning in the process about it which might not exist, anymore.

According to the reports of WrestleVotes, Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker is not going to happen at Wrestlemania. Triple H was going to be a huge factor in the upcoming storyline. But his injury would not allow appearing on TV for now. This might have forced HBK to back down in working matches after coming out of retirement.

Previously, several reports suggested that Shawn Michaels came out of retirement, not for only one match. Surely, the lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia Sports Authority has been a huge factor in working at Crown Jewel. But the internal news was that the legend will compete in some dream matches in the future.

But Shawn Michaels talked to WWE.com following Crown Jewel about his future. He sounded clear about staying in retirement and not competing in not a single match. He also confirmed to go back to his original role of being the head coach at WWE Performance Center. So the Undertaker might have to lace up the boots for somebody else at Wrestlemania.
