We witnessed a dream match for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 34.
The two of the best pro-wrestling athletes of this generation locked horns to give us the fight to remember for a long time. AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura gave their all in this mouth-watering bout before the current champion retained, successfully.
The aftermath of the match was even more interesting, as Nakamura turned heel which was unthinkable. By delivering a low blow, this villainous turn happened to add completely new layer to his in-ring gimmick.
This continued, going forward as he delivered even more attacks on the WWE Champion. It is a certain indication that the rivalry between these two will definitely continue.
If the upcoming event advertisements are to go by then, this title feud will continue in the upcoming months, as well. These two are likely to battle in the Extreme Rules PPV main event match, too. The local advertisements from the main event of this PPV night are out to sell out the arena which is advertising a triple threat match.
The ad says AJ Styles will defend his championship against Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin, at the same time. This exciting PPV show which contains several gimmick matches will come back into WWE programming on July 15th. The host of the show would be the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
To give more updates on this upcoming feud, ads for some of the live shows also promoting the same matchup around the same time. A live event at the Bancorp South Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi on June 10th is providing the same main event match. It certainly hints that these three superstars will be involved in the WWE Championship feud. Here’s what the official advertisement states,
“You’ll see WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship! Also, see, Women’s Champion Charlotte, Tag Team Champions – The Usos, Bobby Roode, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Randy Orton and many more!”

Going by these ads, it is almost certain that all three superstars will continue to be a part of the Smackdown live brand.
None of these will change their spots during the Superstar Shakeup process that is beginning in the next episode of WWE Raw and will continue the next night on the Tuesday Night show, as well.
