WWE News: Update On Two WWE Legends Leaving The Company 1

WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T returned to his previous job of WWE commentary during the post-Wrestlemania season. He was brought back to the mix in order to fill up the void of David Otunga. The regular face from the commentary team was shifted to Monday Night Raw but never showed up here since he is busy filming a movie named, “Katrina”.

Initially, he was supposed to be off for six weeks and returned to full-time commentary. But, we did not see him present on the table even on this week’s edition of Raw hinting that Booker T might stay with WWE longer than expected.

A brief hint of the same was given by Brad Gilmore. He is the one who hosts a podcast with Booker to discuss numerous wrestling topics. On the below tweet, he indicated that the former WWE world heavyweight champion will be involved with his on-air duties for this summer. He is expected to quit once the Summerslam season will be over.

It is clear from the tweet that the company is willing to use funny antics of Booker during the televised episodes of the WWE. Being a veteran he surely knows how to stir up the live audience. We often see this during the kick-off panel.

As for Otunga, No-DQ reported that he is supposed to be back on television on this upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. He will join the kick-off panel alongside Renee Young and Peter Rosenburg. There’s no update whether he will be available for Raw, as well.

Speaking of Booker T led us to another legendary name whose WWE career came to an abrupt end. We are speaking about Tajiri who made his 205 Live debut, prior to Wrestlemania making his return to the company after a long time.

However, soon after his return, he suffered a knee injury at a live event and was shelved for an indefinite span of time. At this time, Tajiri took his Twitter handle to let the world know that he is officially done with the WWE. It means a great loss to the lightweight division as well as for the WWE fans who would never see him again inside the squared circle.
