Last night’s Smackdown witnessed a mega tag team match in the main event of the show.
For the first-time ever in the WWE, two in-ring veterans teamed up together. It was a treat for the fans to witness AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura taking on the team of Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens.
The babyface team picked up the win after Nakamura connected with the Kinshasa. The main show ended with Styles and Nakamura celebrating the win, together. They had a brief face-off in the middle of the ring afterwards to hint the dream feud that they will certainly get at a certain point of time.
Once they headed towards backstage, a huge ten man tag team match did take place as a part of the dark match for the fans in attendance. It was American Alpha, Tye Dillinger, Mojo Rawley and Luke Harper teaming up together against The Colons, The Ascension and Aiden English. The former team picked up the win, quite convincingly.

Plus, a weird vignette appeared on screen which witnessed Eric Rowan wearing the Ship mask and signalling for something upcoming. It is to be noted that the creative might be planning to team him with the Ascension to give all of them a major push. It might be a hint of the same.
