WWE News: Why Charlotte Flair Turned into Female Version of Roman Reigns? 1

Charlotte Flair won her seventh women’s championship at Summerslam 2018. She had won these much titles in just three years of her career. We should mention another statistics in this regard. She is the one to hold most PPV wins by a female superstar in the company, i.e., 24 wins in PPV events.

You can only imagine how much push WWE has given to this young lady. She is now heading to become the greatest woman in-ring performer of all-time. Moreover, Charlotte Flair won championships in all the format of the WWE. She has bagged Divas, Raw, Smackdown and NXT women’s championships.

With these seven championship runs, Charlotte has tied the record of Trish Stratus in the WWE. It’s only a matter of time that she would surpass the WWE Hall of Famer in quick time. Now sometimes this much push is not good for a wrestler’s career. Fans are aware of the scripted way of WWE programming and sometimes they feel things are extremely pushed.

The exact same thing is happening with Charlotte Flair. She has become the female counter-part of Roman Reigns. It means she has become a figure who is corporate-protected all the time just to crack things to achieve bigger accolades. Fans have already booed after her Summerslam win because they know that title belonged to Becky Lynch.

Speaking of this bring us to the Irish Lass-kicker who needed a character change, badly. So her heel-turn on Charlotte Flair could not come at a better time than Summerslam. But Becky Lynch is a natural babyface on the roster. So fans will continue to cheer despite her heelish antics. So, here’s the reason where the officials need to worry.

It is the similar situation like Roman Reigns whom WWE Universe is familiar to boo with. WWE will make Charlotte Flair the poster girl of the women’s division. But doing constant nepotism towards her might backfire things. So she could become a victim of the Roman Reigns factor, really quick.

The creative team should think about this while making bigger arrangements of The Queen of the WWE. Rumours already have it that Wrestlemania 35 will witness Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair in the main event. The latter one already handed first loss to Asuka and might do it to Rousey, too. But this could turn out negative for her considering Rousey’s popularity.

As of now, we will have to see how the fans react to Charlotte Flair when the rivalry against Becky Lynch comes to an end. The creative team will try to earn cheers for the seven-time champion by making Lynch do some villainous tactics. Hopefully, WWE Universe should fall for those that’ll prevent Charlotte Flair becoming a female version of Roman Reigns.
