WWE News: Women’s Triple Threat Match Announced for Final Spot for Survivor Series 1

As of now, the Survivor Series teams for the traditional tag team matches are set, almost.

Both Raw and Smackdown Live have announced their respective men’s division teams. Kurt Angle will be in charge of team Red leading Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Jason Jordan, whereas, Shane McMahon will lead Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode and John Cena.

The women’s division team from Smackdown consists of Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Tamina Snuka and Carmella with Becky Lynch in the lead. On Raw, Alicia Fox has been chosen as the weird captain who will handle the team of Sasha Banks, Asuka, and Nia Jax thus leaving one final spot on the team which is still undecided.

Last week, two spots were remaining on team Raw women’s division. It was expected that Sasha Banks and Bayley would be the two names to get inserted into the contest. But, quite surprisingly, Sasha was chosen, whereas, Bayley was left.

Now, to determine the final member of the team, an interesting matchup was announced on this upcoming edition of the show. A triple threat match was confirmed to take place on WWE Raw featuring Mickie James, Dana Brooke, and Bayley. The winner will get the opportunity to represent the Raw brand at Survivor Series. It was the official announcement made on WWE.com,

“This past Monday night, Fox added Asuka and Sasha Banks to her team, which also includes herself and the forceful Nia Jax. Who will fill that all-too-crucial final slot? We’ll find out on Raw when Bayley, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke collide in a Triple Threat Match, with the winner becoming the fifth Superstar to represent Team Red in the Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.“

With this announcement coming out, Bayley is getting yet another opportunity to get involved in the Survivor Series match card. However, the chances are unlikely that she might get to compete in the match.

Last week, we got hints of an upcoming feud between The Hugger and her best-friend on Raw, The Boss. It is one of the much-anticipated feuds that the WWE Universe wanted to see for a long time. Going forward, we might be going to see this once the big dual brand PPV gets over.
