Apart from being the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, WWE has its own movie production house knows as the WWE Studios. So it is proud to declare itself as a Sports Entertainment organization. WWE Superstars too not an unfamiliar face to the movie world as the biggest faces of the company can be seen regularly on different movies for WWE’s own movie production as well as the others. A recent example is Ninja Turtle movie’s latest franchise stars WWE Superstar Sheamus in an important role. He was seen promoting the movie and associating in various campaigns for the movie, recently.
From a short role to the main lead of the film, WWE superstars have done it all. The greatest example of making it big in the Hollywood is none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, of course. The other faces that we have seen in the recent past, includes John Cena, The Miz, Randy Orton, Big Show, Paige etc. Another two names should be added to the list as a result of an earlier announcement, though, these two faces are familiar too, on the silver screen.
The Rated R Superstar Edge aka Adam Copeland and the Ravishing Russian Lana will now be seen in a movie named “Interrogation”. WWE Studios has confirmed the news by saying that they themselves will produce the movie. Though the release date of the movie has not been confirmed yet, we can expect to see both Edge and Lana on the big screen soon. Here is sneak peek of the poster of the movie.

Edge, a WWE Hall of Famer and an 11 time WWE World heavyweight Champion has forced to retire from the in-ring action due to a neck injury and made quite a name for himself in the TV and movie industry. Starting from July 2011, Edge appears regularly in the Syfy series Haven. In 2012, WWE Studios has released “Bending the Rules” in which Edge was the protagonist. In 2015, it was announced that Edge will play the villain Atom Smasher on the second season opener of The Flash. Lana, on the other hand, has acted in the Pitch Perfect series and featured in WWE Studios production “Countdown” in 2016.
Actually, WWE has signed a deal with Wesley Snipes to produce three movies under the banner of WWE Studios. Day by day, WWE is looking to expand its horizon more in the movie industry. Time will tell if this venture turns out to be a success.
