WWE News: WWE Confirms Dream Match-up at the No Mercy PPV
The speculations of John Cena taking on Roman Reigns were there in the rumour mill after the former one stepped into Monday Night Raw, last week.
Cena went straight to call out The Big Dog who claims Raw to be his yard ever since defeating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. So, the player who ran the place for over 15 years wanted a trial with newer one.
Hence, expectedly John Cena returned to Raw for one primary purpose and that is to face off none other than Roman Reigns. Ending all the speculations, WWE confirmed the match on their official website before the beginning of last night’s Raw.
The dream match will emanate from the No Mercy PPV where the two franchise players will lock horns to keep their pride intact in this business. In case you don’t know, Raw will host the returning PPV this year. The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California will be the venue for the event on September 24th.

It’s a fact that when it comes to Roman Reigns and John Cena, there’s a never-ending fan backlash. Especially, for the former name mentioned, the fans in any arena just can’t stand with the name. Every time, his music hits the arena, loud boos fill up the whole atmosphere.
In the case of Cena, the man is around for almost two decades in the WWE. There was no denying with him being the face of the company for a long time. However, being a regular member in the company for a long span of time created negative reactions for him, as well.

However, you just can’t imagine WWE with these two behemoth names. So, quite rightfully, WWE has chosen both of them as the franchise players of the company. While selling of merchandises or bigger PPVs, they are the most dependable shoulders, undeniably.
It is being speculated for a long time that this match which is supposed to be the “passing the torch” match. So, we can expect another match between these two to prove their supremacy at Wrestlemania 34, as well.
