Not each of the WWE superstars or should I say employees had a great time during the Wrestlemania week. If recent reports are true then Vince McMahon has releases at least two people from his current employee list. Unfortunately for them, it happened at a time which we usually know as the festive season of pro-wrestling. One of them occurred during the Hall of fame Ceremony.
Why The Miz entered the Raw brand?
Dean Ambrose coming back in 2019?
It has become a tradition of hosting the prestigious ceremony prior to Wrestlemania night. This year was no exception as a number of pro-wrestling veterans got into the most prestigious club present in the sports entertainment. One of them was Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart whom Bret Hart and Natalya inducted through an emotional speech. A fan tried to attack The Hitman during his speech in the middle of the ring but the superstars escorted him out.
Bow this could have been a reason for a backstage employee to let go of his job. Apparently, that was not the reason why Vince McMahon fired an employee prior to Wrestlemania 35. WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman aka X-Pac recently revealed the same on his podcast ‘X-Pac 12360’. He mentioned that Vince McMahon was furious about the mentioning of his name during Bret Hart’s speech.
He became furious and terminated the contract of the person who was responsible for the script,
“I think Bret mentioned Vince a bunch of times. Vince got really hot. I think somebody might have gotten fired. Then we went out and said it a million times and no one got fired. It’s not funny for the guy that ****ing lost his job. I’m not kidding. No, I’m not. Vince was pissed. I understand. That’s a thing for him. It’s his company and people go out there and they do that.”
Additionally, DX members were also nervous since they all had to mention Vince’s name multiple times during their speech. But for the special inductees, The Boss did not have a problem.
Another familiar face who lost her job at Wrestlemania was Dasha Fuentes, the backstage interviewer. She was a regular face on WWE programming who recently got promotions to conduct interviews on Smackdown and 205 Live. So it came as a shocker why WWE would terminate her contract. We still don’t have an update on the issue but Sarah Schreiber will replace her from now on.
