The pro-wrestling universe is all set to embrace the first-ever women’s main event on April 7th. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey puts her title on the line in a triple threat match. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and The Man aka Royal Rumble 2019 winner Becky Lynch will be the two challengers standing against her.
Two titles to unify at Wrestlemania 35
The complexion of the match changed a whole lot following this Tuesday Night. WWE hosted a sudden women’s championship match to crown a new champion. Fans were not happy about Charlotte Flair winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Asuka on the latest episode of WWE’s b-show.
However, the creative team might be planning something huge around the upcoming Wrestlemania main event. This deals with the end of the show that is certainly going to make the fans happy. We should get to see a scene where WWE will present the four-horsewomen, together after a long time.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Charlotte winning SmackDown Women’s championship had nothing to do with Asuka. The former champion could have faced anyone from the past contenders. But there’s this specific reason where WWE wanted each of the four-horsewomen members to hold titles.
Sasha Banks and Bayley are the current women’s tag team champions whereas Charlotte Flair won the SmackDown Women’s title. Assumably, Becky Lynch is going to dethrone Ronda Rousey from her reign at Wrestlemania and become new Raw Women’s champion. These four ladies will close the show on a happy note.
The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection i.e. Sasha Banks and Bayley will defend their tag titles in a fatal-4-way at Wrestlemania. But they are not likely to drop it since WWE is all set to host this special four-horsewomen segment by the end of the show. The four WWE superstars will raise their championships up high making a wonderful scene.
Or else, there’s a chance that WWE might go on to unify the Raw and Smackdown women’s championship. In that case, the biggest fan favorite of the WWE roster, Becky Lynch will be the one to capture those making history and walk out of Wrestlemania 35 as a dual champion. Whatever the end is, fans will be happy with either option.
