WWE pay-per-views always keep on coming no matter what to fulfill their TV deals. For now, WWE hosts one PPV event on per month basis which gets aired on the WWE Network. Women superstars to compete in Saudi Arabia?
That tradition is likely to witness a massive change as current reports are suggesting that there could be a huge gap in between the next two pay-per-view events. Wrestlemania 35 is the very next show that will emanate from the MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey. Thereafter, WWE was about to fly to Saudi Arabia for the next pay-per-view.
As we have seen in 2018, WWE will conduct two yearly pay-per-view events in Saudi Arabia for the next 10 years. These two countries have signed a new contract that will span around the next decade to come up with such a global show. The next edition was supposed to take place on May 3rd which may not be the case, anymore.

As reported by Wrestling Observer, the post-Wrestlemania was set to take place in Saudi Arabia on May 3rd. But WWE has now rescheduled this PPV and did not make it public, right now. The source hinted that the new date might fall more than one month later in the pay-per-view schedule. Here’s the full update from wwfoldchool.com,
“According to the Wrestling Observer, the Saudi Arabia PPV will now take place on June 7th. The reason behind this change in schedule isn’t known as of now, but the WWE Superstars will now be getting quite some days off as they aren’t booked for any events from April 30th to May 5th.”
Every time while hosting a pay-per-view, WWE makes us aware of the next one. So we expect to receive the confirmation if there’s any such new event in the plan to replace the Saudi Arabia show. For the last couple of years, Backlash was the post-Wrestlemania event. This show is not in the current schedule. We’ll see of this one re-enters the card, soon.
Also, we should note that WWE made a deal with The Undertaker & Brock Lesnar for the Saudi Arabia show. WWE booked these two superstars for the global show and perhaps to headline it. With the show getting postponed, there might be doubts about these two big names’ status. We wish to get more details on the next pay-per-view event when Wrestlemania airs.
