The list of injured superstars on WWE Raw is gradually increasing. WWE creative might have to deal with a major setback with this considering Summerslam season is coming up.
We have recently reported that two superstars from the flagship show picked up concussions, last week. Thankfully, their injuries are not much fatal and will get healed in quick times.
But the newest member on the list from WWE Raw will have to be away from the scene for more than six months. The name in concern is Fandango from the tag team Breezango. They are quite popular among the fans with their fashion police gimmick. Back on Smackdown Live, they have earned quite a big reputation with it.
Later, WWE officials decided to bring them on WWE Raw during this year’s Superstar Shakeup. They featured in some of the tag team matches on live TV and looked like going for a push in the division. But this injury will send them back to the line for now.
WWE released an official statement over his injury after he and his tag team partner, Tyler Breeze missed some of the episodes of WWE Raw. Apparently, this is a shoulder injury (labrum tear) that will require surgery to fix the issue. Fandango then posted a cryptic tweet hinting that he is dealing with an injury. His indication was that to be out for six or more months.
WWE has recently confirmed this injury with an official update. He had to undergo a surgery to fix the issues.
Smackdown’s creative head, Road Dogg also wished him healing vibes in reply which suggests he is dealing with a fatal concussion. It will not allow him to compete for a long time in the future. Excluding him, the injury list from WWE Raw stands, as following, Ruby Riott, Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose, Jason Jordan, Samir Singh and Epico Colon.
Alicia Fox was also on the list who has just made her way back on WWE Raw. So we can keep her off while counting. Meanwhile, the resurgence of career for Fandango and Tyler Breeze came to an abrupt halt due to this sudden injury.
These two were doing pretty well on the scene. But while coming back, both of them might have to start from the scratch, all over again.
It will be interesting to see whether WWE uses Tyler Breeze as a singles competitor on WWE Raw in his buddy’s absence. There’s no point of letting him sit out of the show and waste his talent.
