The women’s division comes handy, once again as the company looks forward to using them in a significant way. The tag team division may expect big things in the near future.
As per the reports of Slice Wrestling, WWE is planning to push the NXT Women’s Tag-Team Division to ‘new heights’. They have understood that NXT’s female roster is slightly better than the AEW women talents. Interview of modern-day Chyna
So the WWE creative team is looking forward to exploiting their weaknesses. This is the reason why the source reported that the NXT women’s tag team division will see a ‘big push and be featured more prominently’.

• Deonna Purrazzo & Chelsea Green
• Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke (UFC Four Horsewomen)
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown, the NXT roster got to share the screen with the main roster names on FOX. With Survivor Series approaching closer, the black and yellow roster will get more exposure to the mainstay wrestling.
This is for the first time that NXT gets to compete against Raw and SmackDown in the brand vs. brand war concept. So, the superstars will have to appear on the main roster shows, regularly.
Meanwhile, the current women’s tag team champions are also getting the spotlight. The team of Kabuki Warriors that is Paige and Kairi Sane have turned heel to grab the attention towards themselves. They have also been getting TV time, regularly which is good news for the tag division. Last week, Asuka spread green mist on Paige that fuelled up rumors of the former Divas Champion to come back to in-ring action.
However, it looks like WWE will not use Paige in competition, anytime soon. Slice Wrestling added that she may be back on TV managing another women’s division tag team.
This could happen on NXT or even it may happen on the main roster. “Absolution” (Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville) stays an automatic choice since Paige was the one to introduce them on TV. WWE will do its best to keep the 25-year old superstar as much as active.
