One of the pendant events of professional wrestling’s Ruthless Aggression Era, WWE No Mercy is making its way back to the schedule. Unlike the traditional main roster outing, the event is coming back as an NXT special, down the road. While an official announcement on WWE’s part has been made on the corporate website, the return has also been confirmed in a press conference.
During the media call to hype this weekend’s Great American Bash, NXT head honcho Shawn Michaels confirmed that WWE No Mercy is coming back as the next premium live event for the NXT brand. Fans won’t have to wait for the show as this would be happening as early as September.
