WWE No Mercy video: Triple Threat WWE World title match results 1

WWE No Mercy came our way from the Golden1 Center in Sacramento, California. The PPV saw a huge main event between the three tough competitors. AJ Styles was scheduled to defend his WWE World title against both John Cena and Dean Ambrose. As per Styles claim, he has beaten both of these two men, earlier and he vowed to do that again at No Mercy.

The top seeds from Smackdown were expected to deliver the best match of the evening. AJ Styles is still not over from his inaugural WWE title win at Backlash. John Cena is fired up for his 16th title reign and Ambrose is having all the momentum by his side by beating Cena on Smackdown. But, since Cena and Ambrose are going to take a hiatus from the squared circle after No Mercy, Styles was forecasted to take the win.

Quite surprisingly, the match was not the main event for the night. In fact, it was the first match to start off the No Mercy PPV. AJ Styles defended his WWE World title at the PPV and came up victorious. After all the efforts made by Cena and Ambrose, it was the Phenomenal One who retained his title. Cena left off the arena much depressed as his starve for the 16th world continued.
