WWE NXT Deadline 2022 wrapped up the premium live event schedule for this year, last night. Two Iron Survivor Challenge Matches were the marquee attractions for the night. Also, the NXT and NXT tag team titles were on the line on the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
Reason WWE Hell In A Cell Premium Live Event Not Returning In 2023
– In the opening match of NXT Deadline 2022, Roxanne Perez defeated Zoey Stark, Cora Jade, Kiana James, and Indi Hartwell to win the inaugural Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the number-one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The entry sequence of the match was Perez, Stark, James, Jade, and Hartwell. The fall scores for each of the participants are given below:
Jade – 1 (A roll-up fall over James)
Hartwell – 1 (Immediately after entering the match, Hartwell caught Perez with a big boot for her only fall of the match)
James – 0
Perez – 2 (Perez, first had a roll-up fall over Stark and then another one over Jade after connecting with her Pop Rox maneuver)
Stark – 1 (During the initial part of the match, Stark caught Perez with a knee strike to get her first fall of the night)
WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Matches Coming Back To Wrestlemania From 2023?
– Isla Dawn defeated Alba Fyre in her debut match on NXT Deadline 2022. In between the match, she poisoned the referee with a black. A new referee had to come out after which Dawn sent Fyre face-first into the turnbuckle and then slammed her into the mat to secure the win.

WWE NXT Deadline 2022: Shocking Championship change happens
– In the NXT Tag Team Championship Match at NXT Deadline 2022, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) defeated Pretty Deadly (c) (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) to become the new tag champs of NXT. Woods sent Prince into the top turnbuckle and tagged in Kofi to connect with their modified Midnight Hour finisher to get the win.
WWE NXT Deadline 2022: Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge
– In the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline 2022 to determine the number-one contender for the NXT Championship, Grayson Waller defeated Carmelo Hayes, JD McDonagh, Joe Gacy, and Axiom to earn a title shot at NXT Champion Bron Breakker.
The entry sequence in the match was JD, Axiom, Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Gacy. The fall counts from the match are given below:
Axiom – 2 (Axiom had a roll-up fall on Waller; Then he ended up connecting with the Golden Ratio finisher on McDonagh)
McDonagh – 0
Hayes – 2 (Hayes pinned Axiom for his first fall with a strike followed by a roll-up pinfall over Waller)
Gacy – 2 (Gacy, first submitted Axiom stretching hold and then pinned McDonagh after connecting with a top-rope cutter)
Waller – 3 (Waller pinned double both McDonagh and Axiom with takedowns to score dual falls. Then after Hayes connected with a diving leg drop on Axiom, Waller dragged the latter out of the ring to secure his third fall of the match)

WWE NXT Deadline 2022: Main Event Title Match
– In the main event NXT Championship Match of NXT Deadline 2022, Bron Breakker (c) defeated Apollo Crews to retain his title. The finishing sequence saw Crews hitting a pump kick but Bron hit him right back with a Spear for the win. After the match, the new Number-One Contender Grayson Waller took Bron out with a Cutter and posed with the NXT Title to end the show.
