Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels announced on the November 15 edition of NXT that two debut matches by the name of Iron Survivor Challenge will go down at NXT Deadline 2022, serving as co-main-events of the night.

Iron Survivor Challenge matches set for NXT Deadline
The rules for the matches were also declared as two WWE Superstars begin the match, and a new wrestler will come out every five minutes until all five competitors are in the ring. When the match reaches the 25-minute mark, the winner of the match will be decided via the most falls counted via successful pin, submission, or disqualification.

In the other matches from NXT Deadline 2022, two title matches will be on the line but none are expected to change hands. Pretty Deadly is the favorite to retain against main roster members The New Day to retain their belts while Bron Breakker is expected to have yet another successful title defense against Apollo Crews.
