Former MMA performer Valerie Loureda jumped ship to pro wrestling by joining the WWE earlier this year by the name of Lola Vice. Months after her training performances at the WWE PC, she is gearing up for a big opportunity of her NXT stint starting from this Tuesday night when she participates in a tournament which will also allow her to shine in a singles capacity for the very first time.

During the latest bygone WWE NXT No Mercy premium live event, it was announced that the Women’s Breakout Tournament will be kicked off from this Tuesday night onward. Some of the bright female talents of the WWE’s third brand would receive the opportunity to elevate their career by winning this tourney and the names announced include Lola Vice.

Previously, the young WWE Superstar took to Twitter and uploaded a few photos of herself by the pool to make her intentions clear and that she wanted to win the NXT Breakout tournament. As her will to establish herself as a force to be reckoned with gets bigger, Lola Vice then took to Instagram and uploaded another series of photos that projected her as a nurse. She also left a stern warning for her opponent,

“To every woman in the breakout tournament, welcome to your worst nightmare.”

A video package shared for the 2023 WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament during No Mercy revealed that Jakara Jackson, Karmen Petrovic, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Dani Palmer, Kelani Jordan, and Arianna Grace will be participating in it. Among these names, Vice and Grace have been touted to have a bright future and they seemingly are top contenders for the winner’s spot.

Lola Vice joined WWE in June this year after with a 4-1 record in Bellator MMA. She joined as one of 17 recruits from the 2022 PC class and started performing on NXT Level Up shows. She has since formed a tag team with Elektra Lopez and also faced former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. The Latin faction is going strong at this time but their status could be in doubt if the former MMA star succeeds in the upcoming tournament.
