WWE NXT is still trying to settle things down for their 2.0 revamp. They have confirmed to offer the first special outings from their side as they will have a WarGames event to build toward on December 5th. However, they also didn’t conclude this week’s episode without announcing a couple of things for next week.
Cameron Grimes defeated Ru Feng in a short matchup on this week’s WWE NXT. Then Duke Hudson confronted him in the ring. After they cut some promos on each other, Hudson reminded him of last week where Grimes outsmarted him in a poker contest, backstage.
Hudson wanted to know if he won by dumb luck or Grimes just duped him. He then proceeded to challenge Grimes to a Poker Showdown, next week and Grimes accepted the challenge, right away. We’re not quite sure exactly what WWE has planned for the segment, but things will unfold between the two in the poker table in the middle of the ring.
A match has been announced between Tony D’Angelo and Dexter Lumis on the November 16 episode of WWE NXT. Following the announcement, Tony approached Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta backstage and said he’d been looking for Lumis but couldn’t find him.

Tony then proceeded to hand them a dead fish and told them to hand it over to Dexter so that he would get the message. It was signified that Lumis is about to sleep with the fishes while he also implied that Indi will be back on the market. Tony left the scene but not before handing some cash to Persia.
Tag Team Match announced for next week’s WWE NXT
Also, Jacket Time – Kushida and Ikemon Jiro will team up with Odyssey Jones to face Diamond Mine’s WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong, Julius Creed, and Brutus Creed, next week. The Creed Brothers defeated Ikemen Jiro and Kushida during this week’s episode with Diamond Mine providing the distraction.
But Jones attacked Roderick Strong after the match bell. Jiro and Kushida then helped him to send the Diamond Mine for a retreat. The Six-Man Tag Team Match has been announced, as a result.
