Another eventful episode of WWE NXT went down this week where a top champion had to relinquish her title due to injury. Two bitter rivals collided in a singles contest to settle the scores. Also, the women’s tag team championships and North American Champion were on the line on the May 2 episode that went down from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– WWE NXT kicked off with a video package re-affirming that some of the WWE NXT wrestlers got drafted to Raw & SmackDown, this past Friday and Monday nights during the 2023 Draft.
WWE Draft 2023: Multiple NXT Superstars Called Up To Main Roster On Night Two
– Wes Lee (c) (with Tyler Bate) defeated Drew Gulak (with Charley Dempsey) to retain the WWE NXT North American Championship in the opening contest. Bate leveled Dempsey on the outside, allowing Lee to get over the distractions and land the Kardiak Kick on his opponent for the win.
– Bron Breakker vs. Trick Williams was announced for next week after the duo appeared in a promo exchange session.

WWE NXT Results (02/05/23): Grudge Match
– Jacy Jayne defeated Gigi Dolin in a Grudge Match on WWE NXT. Dolin sent Jayne crashing into the barricade and the ring steps. But upon getting Jayne back in the ring, she managed to hit Dolin with some exposed steel and kicked her for the win. After the match, Jayne continued to beat down Dolin while taunting Dolin’s brother in a busted-open state.
WWE NXT Results (02/05/23): Surprising unmasking
– Axiom defeated Scrypts in the next match. Scrypts went for a top rope move but Axiom caught him with a mid-air kick before connecting with the Golden Ratio for the win. After the match, Axiom unmasked Scrypts and he was revealed to be Reggie.
– JD McDonagh defeated Dragon Lee in JD’s final match on WWE NXT as he’s been drafted to Raw. Noam Dar created distractions for Lee which allowed JD to hit The Devil Inside for the win.
– Joe Gacy (with Schism members) defeated Joe Coffey (with Gallus members) in a singles contest. Ava Raine got on the apron and faked an injury to create a distraction, allowing Gacy to hit the Upside Down on Coffey for the win.
– Dani Palmer defeated Tatum Paxley in a short match with a top rope splash.
– Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (c) defeated Katana Chance & Kayden Carter to retain the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. Fyre sent Carter crashing into Chance before Dawn got the tag. The champions then hit the Gory Bomb-inverted DDT combination for the win.
– In the main event segment, Indi Hartwell thanked the fans for their support throughout her career before vacating the WWE NXT Women’s Championship for two reasons – She is injured and got drafted to RAW in the Draft.
She also declared that there will be a Tournament beginning next week to determine the new WWE NXT Women’s Champion at the upcoming premium live event, NXT Battleground. Dexter Lumis came out and carried her off while several female talents appeared in the ring to fight over a shot to the title.
