This week’s WWE NXT brought the builds for NXT TakeOver 36 where a Love Her or Lose Her match was the main event of the night. Ridge Holland made his in-ring return while the NXT Breakout Tournament continued. Also, Dakota Kai made some explanations about turning on her bestie Raquel Gonzalez on the show that took place at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,

– Hit Row faction defeated Legado Del Fantasma in the opening contest of WWE NXT via DQ. Top Dolla was running wild in the match as he took out Joaquin Wilde and Mendoza but Santos Escobar hit him with a Steel Chair to cause the disqualification. After the match, Legado Del Fantasma beat down Hit Row members and Escobar also took Swerve’s grill. A momentary gap allowed Hit Row members to regroup as Escobar and his partners escaped.

WWE NXT Results (03/08/21): Love Her Or Lose Her Match, Samoa Joe Attacks 1

– Ridge Holland defeated Ikemen Jiro in his return match. Holland hit Jiro with a big suplex and pinned him for the three counts. After the match, Holland joined Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan to declare that they are the three most dangerous men in WWE, right now.

– Roderick Strong defeated Bobby Fish in the next match of WWE NXT. Fish got knocked off into the turnbuckles, and then sent to the floor by Strong. Strong brought it back and hit his opponent with a stiff jumping knee. He then delivered a big backbreaker for the pin to win.

WWE NXT Results (03/08/21): LA Knight & Grimes in a tag team match

– Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Million Dollar Champion LA Knight and Cameron Grimes in a tag team match. LA walked out on Grimes, midway through the match as Gibson and Drake hit Grimes with the Ticket to Mayhem for the pinfall win. After the match, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase came out and urged Grimes to find a way so that he can get rid of LA Knight.

– Dakota Kai appeared in a promo where she mentioned that Raquel Gonzalez won’t be the WWE NXT Women’s Champion if it wasn’t for her. Without her, she would be nothing. Then Kai expressed her will to become the next Women’s Champion to end the promo.

– Trey Baxter defeated Joe Gacy to advance to the next round of the Breakout Tournament 2021. Baxter nailed a 450 Stomp on Gacy to secure the win.

– WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark tried to bond at a Japanese Restaurant. Stark threw the food while Io wasn’t watching. But then Io left the restaurant, leave Stark with the bill.

WWE NXT Results (03/08/21): Love Her Or Lose Her Match, Samoa Joe Attacks 2

– Samoa Joe tried to go after NXT Champion Karrion Kross before the main event match, but a bunch of security guards held him back. Joe took out the security team and put one of them into Coquina Clutch to send a message.

– Johnny Gargano defeated Dexter Lumis in a “Love Her or Lose Her” Match with the stipulation being if Gargano wins then Indi had to quit her relationship with Dexter. Gargano accidentally sent Dexter into Indi to cause a distraction. He capitalized on it with a DDT followed by the One Final Beat for the win. Indi didn’t care about the match outcome who came back to the ring and kissed Lumis to end WWE NXT.
