This week’s WWE NXT was highlighted by the newly begun tournament to crown a brand new NXT Women’s Champion after the former champion Indi Hartwell was recruited to Monday Night Raw during the draft. Bron Breakker 2.0 was seen in action against Trick Williams while the NXT Tag Team Titles were on the line on the show that went down from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. – Tiffany Stratton defeated Gigi Dolin to advance to the next round of the WWE NXT Women’s Championship Tournament in the opening contest. Overcoming a roundhouse kick to the head, Stratton got Dolin up on her shoulders and slammed her before delivering the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

– Gallus (c) defeated Schism to retain WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. Ava Raine hopped on the apron and tried to distract Gallus when Ivy Nile appeared and took her out. Taking advantage of the situation, Gallus hit their finisher on Rip Fowler of Schism to secure the pinfall win.
– Duke Hudson defeated Javier Bernal in the next match. After a senton, Duke hit a German suplex and followed it up with Razor’s Edge for the pin to win.

– Eddy Thorpe defeated Damon Kemp in a short match after using a modified jumping elbow drop as the finisher.
WWE NXT Results (09/05/23): Ilja vs. Dijak
– Ilja Dragunov defeated Dijak via DQ after a physical match on WWE NXT. Firstly, Dijak tossed the Referee inside the ring and then he attacked Ilja with a Steel Chair to cause the disqualification. After the match, Dijak sent Ilja crashing into the ring post and then delivered a chokeslam on the apron before trapping him through the ring steps.
– Charlie Dempsey defeated Tyler Bate with help from Joe Gacy. With the referee not looking, Gacy delivered a cheap right hand to Bate. This allowed Dempsey to connect with a Butterfly suplex for the win.
– Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger in a tag team match. The duo easily hit the modified spine buster-clothesline combination for the pin to win.
– Lyra Valkyria defeated Kiana James to advance to the next round of the WWE NXT Women’s Championship Tournament. Overcoming a powerbomb, Valkyria delivered a spinning back-heel-kick for the win.
WWE NXT Results (09/05/23): Bron Breakker vs Trick Williams
– Bron Breakker defeated Trick Williams in the main event match. After powerslam and Spear, Bron submitted Trick with the Steiner Recliner submission. After the match, Bron continued to attack Trick which led WWE NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes to come out to make the save. Eventually, Bron took him out with a Spear to stand tall.
